At Hustle, I have one of the most rewarding jobs. I have the privilege of collaborating and innovating with some of the most impactful nonprofit changemakers fighting a myriad of social ills, advocacy groups speaking out for underrepresented groups, urgent issues like climate change, and institutions fighting to cure debilitating and deadly illnesses. Everyday I learn something new and am inspired by my colleagues and friends fighting the good fight and forging a better future — powered by Hustle’s revolutionary technology.

An estimated 57,000 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the United States this year alone.

PanCAN is leading large-scale, groundbreaking research initiatives that will be the catalyst for transforming the way pancreatic cancer is detected and treated. No single pancreatic cancer organization has taken on such a comprehensive approach.

In working with the superlative folks at Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, I’ve recently learned that the month of November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. An estimated 57,000 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the United States this year alone. Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major cancers. For all stages combined, the 5-year relative survival rate is only 10%. One of the many reasons why pancreatic cancer is among the toughest cancers to fight, is the fact that it’s difficult to detect early signs as the pancreas is deep in your abdominal cavity. Even with the best medical care and diagnostic tools, the road for those afflicted with this dreadful disease face dire odds, we were all recently reminded of this terrible truth when pancreatic cancer claimed the life of American jurist, trailblazer, and Supreme Court lion Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network fights everyday to change the odds for those living with and battling this aggressive form of cancer. By advocating for more resources, building the scientific capacity of research institutions, educating the public, and investing in lifesaving and transformative research aimed at confounding and defeating pancreatic cancer, PanCAN is ensuring more people have more tomorrows.

They cannot do what they do and bring the change they seek to a doctor’s office near you without support, donations, and advocates. Hustle is enabling them to, even in the COVID era, engage their stakeholders, survivor networks, and community to defeat pancreatic cancer once and for all. Hustle has their back, will you join the fight in memory of RBG and all those who lost their lives to this relentless and rapacious disease?

@PanCAN is ensuring more people have more tomorrows.
