I have absolutely epic news to share that I can finally talk about. Some of you may have already guessed that something Huuuge is happening as lately my poker face has been hiding an even greater level of excitement.
Here it goes, I am super stoked to let you all know that Huuuge has successfully raised approximately $50M in Series-C funding and our future looks brighter than ever. Before I share more about what this means for Huuuge and where we are going from here, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who have been part of the Huuuge journey so far — thank you. It has been an amazing ride and the best part is that we’re just getting warmed up.
Start-ups are fast-moving, rapidly growing companies, and all that is certainly true when we talk about Huuuge. We move fast and are continuously working towards moving even faster as a team (which is a testament to our Company Culture). Thanks to that, our business also continues to grow at a very high pace. Hypergrowth! Last year Huuuge grew over 900% while generating profit and with that being the case, one may wonder why we raised an extra $50M? There were two main reasons:
- First of all, we have a very big vision that we are working on. To make this Huuuge dream a reality we need to be able to invest and focus on innovation and creating great experiences. On that front, I’m happy to report that team Huuuge is already actively building new games while we keep making our existing ones better. Funding allows us to do this. It allows us to think and operate, keeping our long-term goals and objectives at the forefront vs. being led and optimizing towards maximum short-term business performance. In other words, we are putting players first, and in the long run, we believe that it is the best strategy to build the Huuuge brand and execute our vision.
- Secondly, as a big part of our vision is to connect players around the globe, doing this in practice and executing our plan on a global scale requires our marketing efforts to be on par with this vision. That requires significant investments, and thanks to the funding, more players around the globe will be experiencing the Huuuge brand. Now, we are fully prepared to do large-scale marketing campaigns both on global & local levels and there are very exciting things going on at the moment (here is our latest TV commercial! There are surely more to come)
To sum all this up, I have to say that it’s truly humbling to be where we are today. This is something myself and everyone else in the team dreamed of, and worked tirelessly to achieve. We wouldn’t have been able to make those dreams a reality without the passion and support of our fans and players. Your feedback and ideas keep us going and let us work towards building more amazing experiences. Of course, none of this would be possible without Team Huuuge. The impact your dedication and talent had on our mission to transform mobile casual gaming into massively fun, real-time, social gaming experiences cannot be overstated. Thank you all so much.
