This was a good, quick article on strategy. ML Cavanaugh compares creating strategy to running and other long-term efforts. He states that executing a strategy should be a tough exercise with many ups and downs, but in the end, it is a worth while endeavor. I like this comparison, as it brings in the reality of life and the human experience into what is typically think tank-type theorizing.
