As promised in our latest announcement, here is the recap article about all the marketing activities that were launched during the month of August!

To make it easier to digest, we organized the activities by their respective marketing agencies. This should help the DAO community in judging the impact and efficiency of each agency, which will be important for the budget allocation vote that will be held during the period of Sep 1 — 4.

Note: Some of the tweets and media in this article are shown in expanded/preview mode to showcase them as examples. Their selection is mostly random. All tweets and media can be viewed in full by clicking on their attached links.

Some of the items are not delivered yet, but will be in the coming 1–3 days. These are commented as “scheduled”. We will update this article as they come in.

👉 Marketing Agency: Cryptic ($10,000 total budget)

Strategy: Fully focused on Twitter shill campaigns, with a high number of participating accounts. Generating plenty of impressions.

Strategy: Launching airdrops/giveaways with certain tasks to complete and promoting them via major twitter accounts that specialize in this area.

Giveaway and Related Activities

👉 Marketing Agency: AtoZ ($12,000 total budget)

Strategy: Utilizes a wide range of communication channels, including PR articles on crypto media, Twitter KOLs and YouTube reviews. Supplemented by a Zealy quest event.

Summary:

  • Tweets from 7 different KOLs
  • 2 YouTube Video Reviews

As can be seen from the above recap, the month of August has been very active. While it is not always possible to measure the impact of individual actions, we hope that this overview will help the community with their voting decision.

To conclude this article, we are sharing the latest member count statistics for the Hydra Community Group (on the left side) and the Hydra News Channel (on the right side).

Given that some of the campaigns (such as the giveaways) include tasks of joining the community group, we expect the members count volatility to remain high for that group, which is further emphasized by the entry and exit of spam bots. The news channel on the other hand appears to be relatively healthy in terms of growth, as it is not subject to most of those effects.
