Every Friday, the Hydro dev team provides updates on what they’ve been working on over the past week.

May the 4th be with you! We have been internally testing our Hydro Client Raindrop application, and we are extremely excited about the release! Our Front End Team has been coding away to make sure the application is bug free and looking gorgeous. Meanwhile, Noah and I have been making sure that our API and documentation are are all up to snuff. We have moved over our API to use OAuth authentication and are updating all of our error messages to make sure that they are clear and concise.

Alongside this, Noah and I have completed our internal POC of the Snowflake smart contracts. As we continue to build this out you can monitor our progress here. Our main focus this week was on making sure the logic of the identity contract works alongside the escrow contract. This is crucial for us, as escrowing Hydro is a key piece of our Snowflake protocol. It is still very much in concept and testing phases so expect lots of changes. If you’re interested in chatting with us about blockchain-based identity or our 2FA, don’t hesitate to reach out on Discord!

We’d love to hear from you! Please get in touch via Discord, Reddit, or Telegram.
