Hydro Update: 12/7/18

The Hydro team provides updates on Hydrogen’s blockchain and decentralization efforts, including the Hydro API and Hydro smart contracts.

Happy first week of December! It has been another productive week of work at Hydrogen. We are working hard to have Snowflake out and functional by the end of the year. Here are a few things we worked through this week:

1. Noah
   finalized all of the features in the Snowflake Dashboard. I encourage all to test it out on Rinkeby! You can mint an EIN, create a Hydro Id and much more! Also, if you are a developer, we would love to chat about building a dApp on Snowflake through the dashboard.
2. He also spent some time this week upgrading all our smart contracts to Solidity v0.5! I am not envious of him, but it was definitely something we had to get around to at some point.
3. This week I mostly have been working with a KYC provider to set up our first Snowflake KYC application. Sadly, I can’t speak to that much right now, but keep an eye out going forward for more announcements on this!
4. Lastly, I have been working with some of the DAs (shout out Jonah!!) to make the projecthydro.org website not hideous. It is slowly coming along (check out the dope team member cards). For those with front end/React.js experience, we would love to have you contribute to the site. The repo can be found here!
