Hydrogen is excited to have officially been accepted into the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA)! For those of you that are not familiar, EEA’s mission is to:

  • Deliver an open, standards-based architecture and specification to accelerate the adoption of Enterprise Ethereum.
  • Create world-class Enterprise Ethereum Client Specifications and testing and certification programs that ensure interoperability, multiple vendors of choice, and lower costs for its members.

Ethereum and Molecule

Hydrogen was one of the founding developers of Project Hydro, one of the preeminent open-source blockchain projects in financial services. Project Hydro is built on top of Ethereum, and their team around the globe continues to build awesome technology that Hydrogen can use in its enterprise architecture.

As we have expanded our enterprise footprint with the release of our Molecule library, we wanted to collaborate even more closely with other companies building enterprise grade tech on top of all Ethereum chains. Molecule focuses on decentralized tokenization, payments, and identity components that can be linked to any platform or application built on our Atom library. EEA will be an important part of making Molecule stronger.

Hydrogen’s Participation in EEA

Hydrogen intends to be an active member of EEA by contributing to special interest groups and task force groups.

EEA has special interest groups in the following areas:

  • Advertising and Media
  • Chemical SIG
  • Education and Research
  • Energy
  • Financial Services
  • Healthcare
  • Real Estate
  • Supply Chain
  • Telecommunications

In addition, there are speciality task force groups:

  • Digital ID Task Force
  • Trusted Execution Task Force
  • Security Task Force
  • Testing Working Group
  • Certification Working Group

What is particularly exciting about EEA is their work to create standardization across different versions of Ethereum. This will allow Hydrogen to build highly scalable APIs using some of the work done by Project Hydro. These APIs can be interoperable and have the most advanced enterprise specifications and embedded security.
