Each month, we offer a roundup of announcements, products news, and developer updates from Hydrogen HQ.
August was a long (and hot) stretch here in NY, but we were as busy as ever! Let’s recap what went down at Hydrogen as we close out the summer season.
Announcements:
- Throughout August, we highlighted new or current partners as part of our 30 partners in 30 days series. Our partner network has a global reach, and we are very excited to continue working with all of them!
- Our CEO Mike Kane appeared on Cheddar’s Crypto Craze show to talk about the Hydrogen platform, live from the NYSE trading floor.
- Mike was also a guest on the Bank on It podcast, discussing Hydrogen’s origins and how we plan to build the financial platform of the Web 3.0.
Product News:
- The Element team offered its insight on designing the Hydro app and the steps taken to ensure the app was the most user-friendly blockchain app on the market!
- Our Front-end dev Rachel also offered a detailed look at the 4-month development process of the Hydro app. It is a good read for those who want to learn about what goes into a developing a blockchain app.
- Noah and Andy have finished an early prototype of the Snowflake dashboard! It is now live and ready to be tested from a browser with MetaMask installed on the Rinkeby testnet. You’ll be able to claim a HydroID, mint your Snowflake identity, and add resolvers! Right now, two resolvers are available: Status and Hydro KYC.
- Shane and the Atom Team have released Proton version 1.2, which included an expansive update to the Goals suite — a framework used to analyze financial scenarios.
Developer Updates:
- Reinaldo and Rachel are hard at work on Hydro version 1.3; this update will include a settings page as well as the ability to check seed words.
- Noah and Andy have been working on building a Snowflake dApp store, to make things more seamless for users and enhance the overall resolver ecosystem.
- The Atom team has started development on Proton version 1.3, which will include new features for financial wellness and insurance.
- The Atom team is also prepping a new Nucleus release that will add an orchestration layer to the API!
See you next month!
