We are getting closer to the release of the new Hydro app into the Google Play and iOS app stores! This week we have successfully completed the first back to front website integration into the Hydro API for the app. As you can see above, we have even built sample frontend connecting websites to the authentication in real-time.
To refresh your memory, the first phase of Project Hydro is called Raindrop. It allows for platforms to secure access to their systems on the blockchain, and also secure user access and interactions to private actions (logging in, payments, account creation, etc).
We will be giving the top 1% most active members of our community early access to the app to provide feedback and product testing. Please be on the lookout for invites!
In the meantime, the product team is already hard at work at adding our next phase — Snowflake — to the Hydro app. In addition to the multi-factor authentication of Raindrop, these new features will allow users to grant and control platform access to their identity by using advanced blockchain based cryptography. We will have much more to come on Snowflake in the weeks ahead!
