This guide is meant to provide general information to help you get off to a great start and brief you on our background, outreach and campaign points. We are hyped to have you here!
WHO WE ARE
HypeDAO is an Official Artist Guild on NEAR Protocol. We are a group of artists, designers, developers and writers aimed at building a strong community around cryptoart and developing the tools to succeed in the field.

Our Backstory
HypeDAO began as #NFTHYPEGANG on twitter — a collective of NFT creators that banded together to help eachother gain traction among the sea of new artists, and endless hype coming from more high profile NFT platforms. Between December and July, the HYPEGANG grew from 12 members to over 500 between a dozen different HYPE groups.
It was largely decided that HYPE was a bad term. Ephemeral, fleeting, artificial. We are much more than HYPE, we are committed artists who work to establish ourselves every day.
Well than why on earth would we name our guild “HypeDAO”??
We arent merely a DAO. This is only stage-one. HypeDAO exists provide an opportunity for artists to get their hands dirty with DAOs, learn whats possible, and get access to the tools and know-how to build these things on their own. Once we’ve achieved our goals of building these tools, we will evolve. So in short, HypeDAO will be an exciting and intentionally short-lived project. Once the tools are built and the artist-daos emerge, HypeDAO will be repurposed for hype of all kinds on the NEAR protocol.
We are HypeDAO because we bring the HYPE around DAOs, NFTs and our future as artists!
Our mission

The team
The leading council consists of 5 members: MXJXN, EV3RETH, Digipedia, Zeitwarp and ZON. Each can be reached on Twitter, Telegram, or Discord.
Short Term Goals
To reach out to as many artists as possible, bring them onboard. First step is onboarding which will create a community in order to have an effective momentum to make better decisions for artists.
Short term goals are
- To have many artists release work on NEAR based platforms
- deploy $HYPE token on Near and develop tools around it
- Release a large scale collaborative artwork on Near
- Provide grounds for collaboration between artists
Long Term Goals
Longer term goals are:
- To bridge the artworks between ETH ← → Near
- Release Artworks by Guild members on ETH and payout in $HYPE for DAO funds and contributions
- Buy Artworks on behalf of the guild, to build a collection, as well as to flip them, for DAO profit distribution, in native funds, plus $HYPE rewards
- Provide tools to Artists to mint their works on $HYPE and bridge it over to ETH
Our Current Onboarding Tasklist:
- Twitter outreach, on board as many artists as possible
- Tip them on Telegram in NEAR and $HYPE to welcome them into the community
- Massive Outreach on Spaces and Clubhouse
- Weekly/Monthly bounties and games to encourage further participation
BOUNTIES
- We need a telegram tip bot for the $HYPE fungible token. There are several open-source repositories that can be used as an example or starting point for this project! This bounty is available for any developer to claim.— 100 NEAR & 100 $HYPE
- We need a HYPE logo design! We will accept 10 Prototypes! If you would like to try your hand at it, let us know. No serious work required, merely a rough draft to be submitted for the prototype. One rough draft submission will be chosen for finalization. Rough Drafts get 5 NEAR and 10 $HYPE, 50 NEAR and 100 $HYPE for the final submission
- We need your brains! Contribute campaign ideas in Telegram chat! We’ll be tipping out participants in NEAR for their help coming up with good campaign ideas. 0.1–5 NEAR each, 70N total
- Hype Campaigns will be the easiest and most common way of participating and earning. 1–5 NEAR, 2–10 $HYPE.
