Session 1 — Overview
Who are we?
The day started with each of us introducing ourselves and our current position in the respective companies we work for.

First order of the day was getting to know each other and the background story behind Hyper Island and the methodology used.

Then we shared:
3 things that have shaped me + 1 dream I have.
We then talked about Self-Image + Relationships and where we as individuals sit on the diffusion curve and where our companies are currently positioned and where we would like them to be positioned.
Next was an exercise in predicting the future -> identifying the key environmental, technological, regulatory and legal changes that have impacted our industry in 2014, 2015, and who impact the coming 3 years.
Lastly, we determined a key challenge faced by the companies we worked for and practiced so speed dating with 30 sec given to explain the challenge and 30 seconds for your partner to respond, then switch.
