Public Token Sale Update
Dear Hyperbridge Community,
Thank you everyone for your continued interest in Hyperbridge. Today we are announcing an important change related to the token sale soft cap. We are decreasing it from $2,000,000 USD to $400,000 USD. We’ve discussed it at length as a team and with our advisors and we believe it will benefit Hyperbridge and our contributors.
Why are we doing it?
- Due to the amazing pace of our development team, we have progressed a lot sooner than expected! BlockHub is now very close to being a fully functional product and will be by the completion of our public sale. Given current market sentiment we feel it would be a disservice to our development team to handicap ourselves with a large soft cap that we may not reach for reasons outside our control.
- BlockHub has been commercially validated by reputable game studios that are designing games specifically for the platform, and utilize our protocols. This will enable us to generate revenue in a shorter time and reduce the ongoing operational cost.
- Based on the drop in price of ETH, our contributors have suffered financial losses and we are reducing the soft cap to accommodate them.
How does this benefit you?
If you want to be part of the Hyperbridge token sale, you should have no problem getting in with the lower cap. As we will be airdropping the unsold tokens equally to participants (based on contribution amount), you may potentially receive more tokens as well!
Our core values are 100% commitment to our token holders and users, and to create cool, innovative technology that empowers people and makes a positive contribution to the decentralization movement. We will do this whether we raise $400,000 or $18,500,000. More contributions will give us more firepower to execute on our plans, but either way, we’ll make it work. Contributions received in the public sale will be used to accelerate the development of Hyperbridge protocols, amazing features for BlockHub, and the expansion of our game library through developer incentives. Additionally, they will be used to accelerate the pace the world becomes aware of our ecosystem through marketing and user incentivization.
We think this change is going to be better for the Hyperbridge community in the long run.
