We’re excited to announce the launch of Hyperlane Pilot Academy! This program is an opportunity for the community to get more involved with the growth of Hyperlane.
What is the Hyperlane Pilot Academy?
The Hyperlane Pilot Academy is a program for developing passionate community leaders and developers, with the ultimate goal of accelerating the growth of the Hyperlane community and ecosystem.
Hyperlane Pilots will work closely with the Hyperlane team to learn how to navigate the interchain ecosystem and become community leaders in the interchain space. Pilots will be involved in various parts of the Hyperlane ecosystem depending on level of commitment.
By participating and leveling up in the program, you’ll meet great like-minded people, showcase your skills, earn rewards sharing in the growth of Hyperlane, and unlock opportunities for a full-time career in crypto.
How Does the Pilot Academy Work?
The Pilot Academy consists of several levels of involvement and participation. To progress through the ranks and gain access to more benefits, Pilots are expected to actively participate in the community, produce exceptional content, spread the word about the program, attract high-quality users, and maintain consistent involvement.
The Pilot Academy consists of 4 levels:
- Cadet — New community member: Actively learning and sharing Hyperlane’s content.
- Lieutenant — Dedicated Community member: Regularly creating content, assisting new members and actively engaging on social media.
- Captain — Emerging community leaders: Overseeing, scaling and managing the Pilot program. Mentoring fellow Pilots, providing education and training.
- Officer — Top tier leaders: Spearheading global and local expansion efforts. Developing other leaders, organizing local events and collaborating closely with the Hyperlane Core Team.
What does Hyperlane look for in candidates?
The Pilot Academy program seeks out proactive community members who can help spread the word about Interchain tech and Hyperlane. We want exceptional community builders, content creators, developers and individuals with valuable skills that can contribute to the program as well as development of the Hyperlane ecosystem.

What is Required of a Hyperlane Pilot?
As a Hyperlane Pilot, your role will encompass a variety of important tasks. You will be responsible for:
- Creating engaging content for the community
- Organizing in-person community events
- Onboarding and educating new community members
- Moderating Hyperlane’s social and community channels
- Leading your local Hyperlane community and promoting Hyperlane’s mission in your area

If selected you’ll get invited to join a screening call with our team. Then if approved, we’ll begin the onboarding process to get you up to speed.
