We’re hyped to introduce Hyperlane interoperability to the Move ecosystem, in collaboration with Movement Labs.

Movement is pioneering the production of modular Move-based blockchains, with M1, the first modular Move chain already on testnet. Move is a powerful language designed to make it easy for any developer to write secure smart contracts, and Movement is at the forefront of enabling anyone to build Move-based chains.

What’s New?

Movement Labs collaborated with Hyperlane to build a Move Virtual Machine (MoveVM) version of Hyperlane to enable interoperability between Move-based chains and the broader crypto ecosystem.

The integration enables:

  • Connection and interoperability with the growing Modular ecosystem.
  • Interchain Applications that connect across multiple blockchains and abstract away the complexity of using multiple chains.
  • Permissionless bridging of any assets between any chains with Warp Routes.
  • Modular Security. Hyperlane’s modular stack allows for future proof and customizable security models tailored to specific application needs.

In the meantime, start exploring Hyperlane.

More about Hyperlane

Hyperlane is the first Permissionless Interoperability layer, enabling anyone to connect any blockchain, out-of-the-box. With Hyperlane, developers can build Interchain Applications, apps that abstract away the complexity of interchain interactions and serve users on any connected chain. Additionally, Hyperlane’s modular security stack gives developers the power to customize their interchain security. Hyperlane development is open-source and led by core developers at Abacus Works.
