Q: What is the Settler Event?
A: During the launch phase of the Hypeverse, we’re offering a series of special events, with a staggering $100,000 USDC prize pool. Settlers compete for points, with the highest scorers winning themselves a piece of the prize! Learn more about the specifics of our rewards distribution here!
Q: How many points do I have? Is there a leaderboard?
A: There is! You can find the leaderboard on settlers.hypeverse.gg. The leaderboard is updated once per day, so check back in 24 hours if you feel like something isn’t quite right.
Q: What happens after the end of the Settler Event?
A: Once winners are chosen, your acquired points will still be useful to you! Participating and being part of the Hypeverse community during the launch phase nets you access to exclusive events down the line. That’s our way of rewarding our faithful pioneers.
Q: What are the differences between traditional gaming and blockchain gaming?
A: In contrast to traditional games, blockchain games allow you to earn money by design, without breaking any kinds of TOS (you can’t sell gold in World of Warcraft, but you sure can in a web3 game!). Everything you own in blockchain games is tradable. This also means you hold true ownership of your game items, free to trade or transfer them as you please.
Q: How do we compare to other guilds?
A: Other guilds in the space are mostly focused on P2E gaming and scholarships — competitive and value extracting. We are mostly focused on value creation through incentivizing digital content creators and empowering “play-to-contribute gamers”. We weave lore, storytelling, and worldbuilding into our events, creating a sense of atmosphere and mystique unique to the Hypeverse.

A: Yes, the Hypeverse is completely free.
Q: Where can I find the whitepaper?
A: We have no whitepaper yet. When/if we publish it, we will make an announcement.
Q: What is the Hypeverse building?
A: We are building a gaming community for high quality Web3 games. We believe that games using well-adjusted token economies are better positioned to incentivize and reward players that “play to contribute”, making the games and game communities more exciting. We also think that self-sustainable game token economies will reward user-generated content much more than current models do.

A: No, we don’t have a token as of yet. Any new information will be conveyed to you at the relevant time.

A: The Hypeverse grants you the chance to create your own story, the chance to experience the newest and most comprehensive blockchain games, usually before the general public. The Hypeverse represents the chance to have a say in a newly formed universe, while participating in fun events and competitions along the way.

A: By joining the Hypeverse; In a newly formed universe, you can be recognized early, make your name known, produce content, and gain various advantages by helping the community. Showcasing your passion for the Hypeverse helps it grow bigger and stronger.

A: We want to keep this secret until the mysteries of the Hypeverse are solved. You can rest assured that the Hypeverse team is composed of both blockchain and video game industry veterans set on doing Web3 gaming ‘the right way’.
Q: What is a Gaming Guild?
A: In “traditional” online gaming, a guild is when a group of gamers form an alliance for a specific game or games. They are particularly popular/necessary in MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games). Guilds are also often referred to as Clans.
