The State Of Blockchain Gaming reports, which we continue to follow every month to follow the development of blockchain games, has been updated for the last month!
As of August 8, there are 1865 Web3 Blockchain games. Web3 games are using 40+ networks.
If we look at the data from last month, there is a nice 8.49% (159) increase in the number of games. Past month there were 1712 games. The monthly increase rate in June was 7.47%.
Binance network is still the blockchain with the most games, with 689 games. A month ago this number was 607 and it showed an increase of 13.51%.
After Binance, Ethereum Network takes its place with 389 games. A month ago this number was 75 and showed an increase of 3.73%.
After Ethereum, Polygon Network takes its place with 216 games. A month ago, this number was 197 and showed an increase of 9.64%.
Solana went from 98 games to 115 games, an increase of 17.35%.
Blockchain games also show their presence in the mobile game market, which has gained a large share of revenue in the last 3 years. You can see the platforms where the games are published the most in the chart below:
Out of 1865 Blockchain games, 502 are now playable. Of the games, 220 are in Beta testing, 234 are in presale, 146 are in Alpha testing, and 392 are still in development.
When we look at the games according to their genres, we still see the most Action games. The 5 genres with the most games are respectively; Action with 339 PVP with 317, Collectible with 257, Adventure with 243, RPG with 236, and Strategy with 225.
Axie Infinity, the most popular Blockchain game, includes Breeding, Card and PVP genres.
About 57% of the mobile game industry, which has a huge audience like 2.2 B, plays Puzzle games. %36.87 of the Web3 games are compatible with mobile, and there are only 18 Puzzle genre games. Whatever the Web3 audience is, it continues to build and we will see more fun, more beautiful graphics, and more systematic games day by day.
