iBetYou Is Now Part of the Moonbeam Ecosystem
We are excited to announce that we will be working with the Moonbeam team to launch the IBY protocol and Dapp on Polkadot. This integration will allow Moonbeam and Moonriver token holders to use their Glimmer (GLMR) and Moonriver (MOVR) tokens in a fun and meaningful way. E.g. Moonbeam and Moonriver tokens can be used to create personalized bets, challenge friends or anyone on anything.
The whole IBY team shares a multi-chain vision of the future which has led to the expansion of our product offering to multiple chains from the start. It is our strong belief that in order for our industry to grow there needs to be many ways to interact and engage users across multiple chains and we see Polkadot and Moonbeam as a crucial part of that.
We see a great potential to reach new users in Polkadot’s interoperable network in a cost-effective way. This is why we chose Moonbeam as our expansion point because of its unmatched compatibility. Now, we can re-deploy a version of our existing Ethereum-based code to build a new user base in the growing Polkadot ecosystem. In the next few days we will deploy the first version built on Moonbase Alpha and a detailed tutorial on how to try it out later in the week. In the near-future, we will deploy to Moonriver (Moonbeam’s deployment to Kusama) and Moonbeam (deployment to Polkadot). This integration will enable users of Polkadot and its parachains to use their tokens in the IBY protocol.
As part of the collaboration, IBY received a grant from the Moonbeam Foundation to help fund the expansion of the product to the Moonbeam and Moonriver networks. IBY will integrate with the DeFi ecosystem on Moonbeam and Moonriver to start creating our own yield farming opportunities via locked bets. As the bets are being created with Glimmer and Moonriver tokens, the protocol TVL will start rising and we will be able to provide liquidity to any new project that launches on Moonbeam.
When it comes to our commitment, we will in due time, launch a multichain DAO with the $IBY governance token being used on Moonbeam to govern the protocol, solve disputes between the bettors, and much more.

About the Moonbeam Network:
