I love words. I always have. Whether it is the words I read, words I speak, or words I write, words have always been my friend. When my voice problems were diagnosed, I thought I lost a big part of myself. It’s only been recently that I have realized my speaking voice is only a part of me. Like many other parts of me it is broken, but that’s ok. Learning to accept the broken parts of myself has helped me understand the world and my place in it better. That makes me smile.

100 words on yourself. Something that you want to share that others don’t know. Something you want to expand upon that people do know. One of the things that at your core makes you who you are.

I know that being brief, but being honest, is hard. For this challenge, if you need help getting your piece under 100 words, leave the editor a private message. We will help out as we can.

Please be sure to give your piece these two tags: “One Hundred” and “Myself”. The other three can be anything you wish.
