A U.K. study finds a clear connection between density and obesity — and even rural areas fare better than suburban ones. — CityLab

The article doesn’t have a reason why living in dense cities prevents obesity but theorizes that it’s because people can walk to the things they need.

Another interesting point I read was that the UK currently recommends 3,200 dwellings per square kilometer for all new districts. I’m looking for more information on that.
