I created my dljworks channel in 2018 to make general web design, development, and other tech-related help videos.

But It’s been a steep learning curve as I wasn’t the most entertaining person to watch, nor did I intelligently narrow down my video creation despite being in a single niche.

So I went back to the drawing board.

I asked myself, “What is the real purpose of this channel? How can I still serve while unashamedly earning a living from these videos?”

And after several years, I finally cultivated strategies that drove traffic to my affiliate links and courses, converting them into sales while having a low subscriber and view count.

In 2022, it is unbelievable that people believe selling on YouTube is scummy and scammy, especially from the beginning. When starting your channel, there is nothing sleazy about selling if you’re honest and upfront.
