i-House Takes Part in “Blockchain and Real Estate: Outlook for 2019” Panel Discussion

On December 12th, i-House hosted a panel discussion at the Bitrue Exchange location in Palo Alto entitled “Blockchain and Real Estate: Outlook for 2019.” The event brought together speakers, like Tony Chan, Chief Blockchain Officer of SmartRE, Alok Mehta, Co-Founder of Decentralized Education Nexus, Vasudha Badri-Paul, Head of Growth and Community of SeeleTech, who commented on the future of the real estate industry and blockchain.

i-House Bryce Clemmer participated in a panel discussion to speak about the real estate market’s possible trend in 2019. He mentions “I believe Security Token Offerings (STOs) are the future since small cap stocks can officially become public and increase liquidity. At the same time, it protects investment in it because it is backed by physical assets. Eventually, STOs will replace small cap stock.”

STOs require licensing approved by the SEC ( U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) which would protect traditional assets that would benefit it in terms of liquidity, accessibility, traceability, and decentralization.
