My friend Catalina was trying to teach Spanish to her husband Paul.

To help with vocabulary, she wrote Spanish words on small paper cards and placed them around the house on the object that was referred on the card.

Window = Ventana

Door = Puerta

Oven = Horno

Chair = Silla

Etc.

Next door to their apartment lived a couple from Tonga, Polynesia. They were very friendly and always waved and said hi when they ran into each other.

Time went by and during the holidays Catalina received a card from the Neighbors.

She couldn't stop laughing when she saw the envelope. It was addressed to Paul and Puerta!
