These ten brands are not above a good conversation. They’re witty, helpful, and just plain brilliant in the way they interact and connect with customers. They choose to be this way and you can too. Tweet on, tweet on…

1. Disneyland.

Disneyland Resort’s @DCAToday Twitter gets witty.

Yes, the Disney magic can also be found on social media. The conversations you have with the Cast Members in person are the same conversations you can have with Cast Members online. They discovered their brand is more powerful when their online profiles are an extension of the “Disney Way.”

2. JetBlue

@JetBlue never passes up an opportunity to socialize or make playful recommendations.

Nudge, nudge, wink, wink… have conversations with your customer. JetBlue never passes up the opportunity to be playful and helpful. I’ll bet you one Facebook Gift they are having more fun doing their job than you. I’ll bet you another Facebook Gift that their personal and spirited responses create more loyal customers than branded tweets.

3. Woodstock

Woodstock can’t resist sharing his two cents.

Woodstock is a bird. I repeat, Woodstock is a bird. But here he is having conversations with his fans and followers. Peanuts dishes out great content and this little yellow bird cannot resist getting in his two cents.

4. Southwest

Southwest spreads the LUV every chance they get.

Southwest Airlines LUVs to talk. Every conversation is an opportunity to deepen their branding and strengthen their customer relationships, all while being attentive and appreciative.

5. Best Buy

@BestBuy serves up some good social media.

Best Buy is such a good sport! Their conversations include good customer service and good natured tweets.

6. Albertsons

@Albertsons personalizes every response.

Albertsons engages with customers, both satisfied and unsatisfied. Their conversations aim to personalize the shopper’s experience and remedy any poor service.

7. Tesco Mobile

@Tescomobile gets snarky and we like it.

Tesco Mobile, the UK’s largest mobile virtual network operator, is a chatty brand and I like it. Perhaps controversial to some, their conversations with customers, non-customers, and other brands have recently captured the attention of the social-sphere. They are relevant, snarky, and human.

8. Taco Bell

@TacoBell is attentive… and snarky too.

Who said fast food can’t be funny? From their hot sauce packets to their Twitter account, they are witty and amusing. Their feed is filled with responses to customers and “haters” alike.

9. Levis

@Levis sends marketing messages and keeps the conversation going.

Levi’s social media fits snuggly into their marketing strategy… and the fit looks good. Their conversations are upbeat, friendly, and human.

10. Oreo

@Oreo can’t resist a little flirting.

Oreo gets flirtatious with their customers, fantasizing about all things cookies and milk. Conversations like theirs travel and create loyal customers… or should I say fellow flirts?

Do you have a favorite brand that likes to talk, chat, or flirt? Share them with me on Twitter @SheriLehman and let’s keep the list going!
