What Turkish people want: A very short summary

With the Independence War, started in 19 May 1919 by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkish people win their freedom but democracy was given, not specifically desired, not taken. People did not understand it thoroughly, they accepted it without knowing what it really means.

Now, people know what democracy means and how it feels to live without it.
