Food and blogs, every one has them both. Food blogs, however, are essentially food masturbation, telling me what you ate, liking it (or not), then telling me about the best bacon wrapped thong.

Food bloggers are fucking lame and who happen to be Yelp elite since ‘09. The fuck, bro? DO YOU EVEN WRITE?

Why should I care about some blogger who has no authority or ethos besides bombarding me with food porn and witty lines about pork? Just because you’ve been eating since ‘91 doesn’t make you qualified to take down a Michelin restaurant.

There are so many blogs out there and it’s insane how many are niche geared. I do keep tabs on blogs that seep into my corner of the internet namely First We Feast and Food52. Everything else is dark matter, existing, invisible.

Foodies? meh.

So why did I think I needed to add more noise? I’m going to reiterate my previous point, but nicer.

People write food blogs to share what they love with their feed.

I touch food everyday, especially in the morning when I handle your double tall nonfat latte at 180. #coffeelife. I write to share the cool food happenings around town worth your time or what’s cooking in my kitchen.

A million food blogs? Lamest in niche? Keep it moving doubter. I love to write and that’s why I’m here on Medium. Food blogging provides specific writing goals on a regular basis.

Maybe I will get that ad-revenue money eventually. Until then, here’s to me reshaping how you feel about food bloggers.

Moar? Reccommend this post! I’ll write more posts like this.
