I recently watched “Midnight in Paris” directed by a genius Woody Allen. Briefly it is a fantasy romance movie telling you how a nostalgic screenwriter from United Sates comes on a trip to Paris with his fiancée and every midnight magically goes on a trip back to Paris in 1920's. He meets all of the most famous artists like Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí. He meets with Adriana from 20's and argues that 20's were the golden ages, world was beautiful, artists were creating masterpieces and so on. Adriana disagrees and says that 19th century was golden time. For some living in 19th century Renaissance was the best time to create and prosper.

The golden technology age

I truly believe that now are the most exciting times in the history of humanity. Technology is evolving not in decades but in months. You can spread your message to the world in seconds using Twitter or Facebook. We have seen numerous of cases how people become famous overnight. On the Internet everything spreads in seconds.

Is this evolution helping people? I think it creates too much noise, is overwhelming and distracting but if you know what you want there are all of the tools for you at your fingertips. Insane things are happening on Earth, soon, thanks to Virgin we’ll be able to travel to space with Virgin Galactic, another company SpaceX is also pioneering the commercial space.

How many artists you admire and follow who have started out from nowhere? They just appeared on Internet? That is becoming a norm, we have got a freedom to build our own empires, no need to be a king or queen, you know what I mean.

Every century has something to bring and no time is better than now. After 20 years we’ll see huge successes, inventions, dedicated people who will lead us because they are working hard right now, because now is the best time. People like to say ‘meh all the best ideas are taken, best businesses are built and there is no space for me’. Bulls*it. If there are too many businesses they have problems competing, managing, hiring, if they have problems you can come up with solutions. If one market is too big usually there is a market which evolved from the primary market, look to the future, stop looking back. World is changing and creators (video producers, bloggers, writers, photographers, singers, freelancers) are shaping the future, because it is not enough to finish university to get a job, it worked in the past. Now is the golden age which lets you to be free and do whatever you imagine.

We are always looking for better, trying to imagine what would be if we were in that time. Nothing. You can do it now. I could have started blogging earlier but I didn’t so I do now because I think it is the future and some older generations will say, “oh, they lived in the golden age, in the early 2000's”.
