It might seem clichéd, but my father really did instill into me the age-old adage,“When you do something, do it right, or don’t do it at all.”
Ayn Rand put it in a fancier way:
I can accept anything, except what seems to be the easiest for most people: the half-way, the almost, the just-about, the in-between.
The litmus test is simple — when there is something with your credentials attached to it, you do not put it out for the whole world to see until it is, in the context of now, the best it can be.
