Today my friends, I am going to tell you two crazy things.

Crazy Thing #1:

You can write ANY repeating decimal number as a fraction!

When you think about it, it’s totally crazy right? I’m saying that you can write not only numbers like 0.3333… or 0.6666… as a fraction, but also insane numbers like 6.2134343434… or 51.6892892892… or 232.234755555…

Yep, those numbers are all good ‘ole fractions.

Crazy Thing #2: You can find their fractional equivalent BY HAND!

Say whaaaat? No way 😱

Yes, way. It’s true.

That means someone could say to you, “Hey, smart one. Tell me the fractional equivalent of 5.63454545…” over dinner and you could reply, “Game on!” because you know the trick and all you need is a pen, napkin and a solid set of arithmetic skills to be victorious.

Okay, so maybe that’s just an anecdote from my own life, but still it’s a pretty awesome trick to learn 😉.

👇 So what do you say? Shall we learn it? 👇

Brett shows you how to convert the repeating decimal 5.634545… into a fraction in 5 easy-to-follow steps.
