During last month the dev team continued to work on the Nighthawk release with tests and refinements being done for implementation of ring signatures in the API. They also gave the website of Chameleon Molecular Ledger a small upgrade. Besides that, lead IOC developer Joel Bosh also provides regular updates of what the team is working on in the Telegram chat, one of which stated:

“There is a lot of work being done in the background and we hope additionally to the work we are doing on code we will have some other news that is being cooked as we speak.”

So far he has not yet elaborated on what that other news is but it could be that he was referring to the opportunity for implementation of IOC in the Magnum Wallet which was announced a few days later. If that is not what Joel was referring to then we are in for more exciting news!

Magnum Wallet already has an Android app and the iOS app will be released soon. We believe that having a mobile wallet will have a big impact on adoption of IOC around the globe.

The cost for the Magnum Wallet is 0.5 BTC in total of which 0.25 BTC upfront and 0.25 BTC after IOC is up and running in the wallet. After IOC has been integrated other features like trading mechanisms will be explored as well. In order to secure the required funds the community has been asked to donate which is possible by sending funds to one of the below listed addresses. A community member in Telegram chat even offered to send an IOC shirt or IOC hat for donations of over $50 value!

BTC: 15HqL8sRzJhfn8yWy5vz7AtZx3XadnLtmQ
ETH: 0x77C314b7503D0934f7785DAC53b37312f7E3861E
IOC: iYk2rytRM4PGYFx3avQ4K7gRnprPEddLoB

Any donation towards this cause would be very much appreciated!
