Two Stories

I never really wanted kids. Having kids changed everything. Changed my way of thinking. Changed my relationship with God. It enabled me to see what it’s like to be in His shoes. It’s not all about rules, it’s about keeping you safe. It’s about understanding and love.

When you have something to live for, like another human being, it puts you in a different place. I’m not as reckless.

We think we teach them stuff, but they’re the ones teaching you.

I’m worried that he won’t be kind. I don’t know what to do if that happens. I hope that he’s healthy, happy, and makes a difference in the world.
