What makes a mastermind
PATIENCE. They say it is a virtue, but it is much more than that to a true Mastermind.
Patience is the Mastermind’s grand elixir.
The Alchemists, those grey wise men of old who turned lead to gold (or hoped they did, alas never did) through the knowledge and experience accumulated together with the ashes of their fires from years and years of continuous burning of metals came to unanimously agree that the world has a soul, and this soul has a life of its own; exuberant, eternally youthful, playful, and that this soul happens to be a great talker too; verbose and animate, ceaselessly speaking and laughing in a uniquely strange language.
They must have looked it up because they said that in the dictionary of this strange language, there’s no word as coincidence. Yes. That’s a feature solely of the lexicon of humans, or perhaps more specifically, average humans.
Because the Mastermind, though human, if you ask him he’ll tell you that while he surely might have heard other people use the term quite often, he isn’t familiar with it.
Mastermind (noun): a person with an outstanding intellect, especially one who plans and directs a complicated activity.
Synonyms: deviser, planner, architect, initiator, originator, organiser, manager, genius.
He looks, sees, calculates, gives to whoever whatever is due, pays the price, and while everyone is already hacking away at the tree, taking half chances and blindly groping at fortune, he’s busy sharpening his axe.
He takes his time. Waits his turn.And in one full fatal swing, he takes it down.
In this great turbulent sea of life, while everyone else is splashing against the waves, the mastermind lets the current carry him with eyes closed, trusting in his knowledge of the sea that these same waves, though fearsome, are headed for shore.
The world's soul is soft and sensitive as all talkatives are. He is a man and woman both, and tends to alternate in mannerisms;
HE is a SHE when SHE wants, and SHE wants most times; HE does everything HE does to please SHE.
SHE likes better to be caressed, teased and flattered. You have to take your time.
You have to be patient. Rob SHE wrong like a bad massage and HE will rain hell on you.
SHE thoroughly dislikes snickering people and HE never rewards them. SHE keeps the master teasers and fine talkers with her for a long time to regale dreamy tales and humour SHE, and when SHE’s gratified, SHE requests HE to reward them their heart desire (whatever that may be).
Then we humans, perhaps for lack of a better word, or in our inherent ignorance of the beautiful things that transpire in that esoteric realm, say that these people are lucky.
No.
These people are masterminds; masters of timing; masters of patience; teasers of LUCK.
