A big challenge for every website is increasing the organic traffic.
Some reason why?

- You don’t need pay for this user;
- It’s a qualify users;
- You can show your product more and increase your sales.

Doesn’t matter which business your website cover, you should think more about it.

I am going to share some learnings that I did on this journey, as a product manager.

  1. Optimize the website structure

Google scan your website every date, your website needs be clear to Google Bot understand the paths of your site. To guarantee it, check it out:

Urls friendly ( avoid codes, id or big url);
Breadcrumb
H1, h2 ( in every page)
Title, Description, Alts in the images.
Canonical Tags
etc…

2. SiteMaps

To guarantee that all page were indexed to Google Console, you should generate all pages and add manually there or automatized this process.

3. Unique and relevant content

This tip is most important in this post in my opinion.

Generate a massive content is too hard, you can hire or pay someone to do it, but you need time and ideas to achieve a massive content.

You couldn’t copy content from other site and publish on your page — you can receive penalties from Google and decrease your visibility there.

So this was our secret …

Here we use the information from our clients (UGC approach) to get a massive content, our asked for reviews of the products.

The only cost was the email campaigns and prizes to incentive our clients write relevant content.. in some months we got more than 50k reviews…

You working in a marketplace of shoes?
Why not ask about the best brand for run or about the confort?

I hope helped you!

Cheers,

Fernanda
