Promotions are great. Usually a promotion is validating in so many ways. It tells you that your skills are a value to the organization. A promotion is a reward for your hard work. It communicates belief in who you will continue to be for the organization. It is also a sign of the trust those who promoted you are exercising in your ability to positively affect the work at a level that is higher than your previous position.
