Taking Off the Training Wheels
Maybe it was too soon, but I decided to avoid any guided meditations during this entire period of time. Just trying to practice on my own. And wow, wow, wow was it hard.
I thought I had built the skills to sustain my own practice. Sit down. Get comfortable. Choose a focal point of my breath and follow it.
Observe.
Bring your attention back. Over and over and over.
