IAMX: Meet the Team — Tim Brückmann

Today you’ll meet Tim Brückmann, our Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder!
Tim Brückmann
Together with Tim Heidfeld, Tim Brückmann founded IAMX in 2021. Tim is an experienced marketing and business development executive who helped build many well-known telecommunications and textile companies.
What is your role & what do you do at IAMX?
I am the initiator of the project and have put together the founding team.
My task is to ensure the growth of the project, in particular the strategic direction. I also try to bring the team on other exciting paths, resulting in IAMX getting deeply involved in the verification of NFTs (NFT identity or vNFTs).
What did you do before IAMX and/or what else are you involved in besides IAMX?
Before IAMX, I worked in the mobile telecommunication industry, most recently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer of a major brand. Additionally, I’ve built multiple textile brands serving as a distributor and head agent for the DACH region of mostly Scandinavian brands. I’m still an advisor for the sustainable textile brand wunderwerk.com. I’m also an advisor for two other blockchain projects, which are using Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and IAMX technology.
Beginning in 2021, I started to explore Cardano and founded the stake pool AZUL with my friends Jochen (former CTO of IAMX) and Marc (Founder of mycashbacks.com). This was the start of my blockchain journey.
So you’re working with blockchain now, but what did you want to be when you were younger?
I always like to be like Jaques Cousteau and Reinhold Messner. They explored the world and there is hardly any movie of them I didn’t watch.
I believe that the blockchain is still a great place to explore new ideas and fix many business and financial challenges.
What are your hobbies and/or passions outside of web3 & Blockchain?
Snowboarding, climbing, diving, sailing, and surfing… Into the wild!
