Dr Loghin is a researcher at NUS for the Database Systems Research Group and he will be speaking about using Blockchain on Low Powered nodes to build a greener blockchain. Dr Hung Dang, also a researcher at NUS has many publications in the blockchain domain, will be speaking about how to scale blockchain applications through the concept of Sharding.

Genesis Devcon also hosts an esteemed panel of professors from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) from around the country. Dr Debdeep Mukhopadhyay — Professor at IIT, Kharagpur will be speaking about blockchain security and how it can be implemented on smart devices. He has made many publications in the cryptography domain and has conducted primary research into Computer Architecture and Fault Tolerance. Dr Debdeep will be joined by Dr Sathya Peri and Dr Souradyuti Paul. Dr Peri is a professor at IIT Hyderabad whose in-depth research into Distributed and parallel computing makes him the ideal speaker to explore the concept of distributed computing and its applications in blockchain. Dr Paul — Professor at IIT Bhilai, has over 14 years of experience working as a doctoral, post-doctoral, and guest researcher in data security. Dr Paul has many publications in the Blockchain, Virtual Currencies and Cryptography domain and he will speak about the compliance of Blockchain solutions to ISO Standards.
