IBM Cloud Paks (CPs) is a comprehensive software for Digital Transformation to transfer and connect data in Cloud-Native Applications, including existing Applications. IBM Cloud Paks provide modernized software capabilities that are container ready and compatible with Redhat's industry-leading container orchestrator product Redhat OpenShift (OCP).

Containers allow developers to package and deliver applications to be run independently anywhere without installation or setup, thus simplifying integration and modernization.
Not all CloudPaks can only use OCP as their container orchestrator and customers can do point install. I have some of my customers who have for their own reasons chose alternatives to OCP.

IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation (CP4NA): AI-powered, telco cloud platform that enables the automation of network operations so CSPs can transform their networks, evolve to zero-touch operations, reduce OPEX and deliver services faster. The CSPs were allowed to stand up new 5G networks on any cloud or on-premises environment of their choosing and scale it up. It provides automation tools for implementing 5G and edge services that manage multivendor software-based network functions.
