9062018 First day in Bangkok — BKK, The Team

The day 9.06.2018 just ended 00.00… When I got to the room!
Great day, got to meet the team, general introductions and seems like a good mix interesting team including the supporting local team, fingers crossed, let’s see how it goes.

Then we got Arabella… the design thinking methodology guru! Insightful and inspiring, exactly what we should be doing. I definitely will need to set up further sessions with her to see how this can be applied to our business unit — RESO as part of the way we do things when creating the entire workplace experience, the more I think about it the more I see relevancy within RESO. Establishing need for relocation, Site selection, Concept Design development, technology selection, maintenance etc, I could go on and on and on, for sure there is need.

Team lunch — interesting and exotic, it was in a modern set up, selling traditional Thai food. Strange names, tasty food, very spicy, luckily, there is a mild option. My taste buds are adjusting. We then walked around the mall, shopped for some basic items and took the train back to the hotel for de-brief around the city map, key places and following day’s plans.

Had 30mins exercise at the hotel gym before dinner. Nice choice of restaurant, they had beer! Played some live music, I think we got in during their last song, maybe next time.
Dinner was in a more western type restaurant, we did get familiar food, with a Thai flavor and the beer was great. Had a Colombia vs Brazil chili (pepper) competition as a preamble and in the spirit of the Russia 2018 World cup.

Time to sleep.. tomorrow work starts at 9am..
