Three days ago, we presented to ~50 healthcare leaders, taking about 2 hours to go through 100+ slides. We detailed our IBM Corporate Services Corps journey, observations/understanding, research findings, key recommendations, and our vision of the future of healthcare in Thailand. The audience was given much food for thought and we had an enjoyable time of answering questions, providing additional insight into why this transformation was needed and how the transformation would drive much productivity and efficiency in the healthcare system. The client leaders expressed much appreciation for the level of detail presented and affirmed that the strategic recommendations and next steps were insightful and exactly what they needed to drive the right healthcare transformation in Thailand.

Two days ago, I had the distinct privilege of presenting to the highest level of healthcare within the Thailand government, the Minister of Public Health. I was given 10 minutes to describe our 3.5 weeks of work, our findings, and our key recommendations, along with a 6-month roadmap to execute some quick wins. I spent much time in prayerful consideration of what to say, since this opportunity felt like I was presenting to a king. After being reminded of Proverbs 22:29 and Luke 12:12 and Isaiah 26:3, my heart was comforted and my mind was set at perfect peace. The Minister, and those around his table, seemed to have a deep understanding of the challenges and they received the recommendations well.

We have strong reason to believe that the right healthcare transformation in Thailand has already begun and that makes each sacrifice made along the journey so worthwhile!
