Willing to Go!

Healthcare landscape in Thailand:

- Elderly population is growing rapidly

- People are living longer and requiring care and support during their later years

- Healthcare costs are on the rise

- The healthcare system is already burdened and will seemingly be overwhelmed in the near future with the rapid growth of the elderly population

Why am I here? What can I possibly do to help the healthcare environment in Thailand?

As I contemplate these questions, I remember how important it is at times to have an object 3rd party’s insight into one’s situation. Whether it’s a business, a church, or a government, it’s healthy to have an outsider looking in to provide necessary feedback on things that insiders might not see.

So, I am willing to be (or at least try to be) that objective voice of reason. Willing to do a deep dive and evaluate the local healthcare landscape here in Thailand. Willing to walk a few miles in their shoes. Willing to offer a small sacrifice of time, effort, energy, and, yes, even love to fuel hope in other people groups half-way around the world!
