Let’s talk planning and workflow. Today this gets accomplished in one of two ways:
Deploying a Cognos TM1 applications web solution.
A custom workflow built using native TM1 server objects.
In the IBM lab is a new approach for workflow:
The concept is to deploy a Planning Analytics Workspace module that will place focus on the primary persona, the budgeting and planning manager and his/her planning process participants. It aims to move away from traditional hierarchy based workflow which existed in prior solutions and takes a fresh new approach.

Planning Analytics latest industry survey results.
The Business Application Research Center (BARC) recently conducted a survey across the leading vendors of planning software. IBM’s Planning Analytics scored very well on this survey. You can sign up and view the results by clicking the link below.
