Thanks for a Great 2021!
We’ve had a great year here at the IBM Data Science Community! Below we would like to share some highlights from this year.
Our Blog
We relaunched this blog in the early fall after a prolific number of stories earlier in the year. Our writers were drawn from across IBM and its community and included novel use cases, introducing new techniques for data scientists, and perspectives on our practice as data scientists.
If you missed our best stories, here is a selection of must-reads based on reading statistics:
- Memory Hygiene with TensorFlow
- How to Load PyTorch Models 340 Times Faster With Ray
- Analyzing GeoSpatial Data With Apache Spark
- Do Neural Networks Really Need to be So Big?
- The Lifecycle View of Trustworthy AI
Events
We hosted the first IBM Community Festival with the larger IBM Community Team in November. We also rebooted our monthly meetup series with Romeo Kienzler’s early December meetup on CLAIMED: The Component Library for AI, Machine Learning, ETL, and Data Science.
Wrap up
Thank you to our community for being with us during our relaunch journey this year. We are bringing out a lot of great content and events in 2022 and invite all of you to stay tuned!
Happy New Year and thanks to our community from the IBM Data Science Community Team!
