So, What is this ChatGPT that all the world is talking about? We can describe it for those who still don’t know. It’s basically a model which trained and still training. Also we can call it an Artificial Intelligence based chatbot developed by OpenAI. The robot can answer the questions you ask like it’s a human. ChatGPT can understand what language you are writing in, create descriptive texts for you, write programs in different programming languages, and even debug errors.

Today, We are going to take a look at ChatGPT 4.0 which is the newest version of it. OpenAI defines it in this way: OpenAI’s most advanced system, producing safer and more useful responses.

GPT-4 outperforms ChatGPT by scoring in higher approximate percentiles among test-takers.

Following the research path from GPT, GPT-2, and GPT-3, their deep learning approach leverages more data and more computation to create increasingly sophisticated and capable language models.

Company says that they spent 6 months making GPT-4 safer and more aligned. GPT-4 is 82% less likely to respond to requests for disallowed content and 40% more likely to produce factual responses than GPT-3.5 on their internal evaluations.

More human feedback including feedback from ChatGPT users was incorporated. Company has worked with more than 50 experts for early feedback in domains including AI safety and security.

Lessons from real-world use of Company’s previous models have been applied into GPT-4’s safety research and monitoring system.

GPT-4 has been used to help create training data for model fine-tuning and iterate on classifiers across training, evaluations and monitoring.

Although model is new, it’s been started to use by several apps.

Dualingo, Be My Eyes, Stripe, Morgan Stanley, Khan Academy and Government of Iceland and many more are using GPT-4 right now.

Here are some examples about what ChatGPT 4.0 can do:

-You can recreate Snake game with zero knowledge of Javascript in less than 20 minutes.

-DoNotPay is working on using GPT-4 to generate “one click lawsuits” to sue robocallers for $1500.

-GPT-4 does drug discovery; Give it a currently available drug and it can:

-Find compounds with similar properties.

-Modify them to make sure they are not patented.

-Purchase them from a supplier(even including sending an email with a purchase order.)

-You can turn hand-drawn sketch into a functional website.

-You can recreate Pong game in under 60 seconds.

-Nerf (Neural Radiance Fields) is transforming 2D media into 3D environments with remarkable accuracy and details. Thanks to GPT-4.

  • Khan Academy has a AI-powered guide called Khanmingo right now. It’s a tutor for learners and an assistant for teachers.

-BeMyEyes which is an app for visually disabled people. They presented Virtual Volunteer which is a digital visual assistant powered by GPT-4 language model. Virtual Volunteer will answer any question about an image and provide instantaneous visual assistance in real-time within the app.

Iceland Government has now partnered with OpenAI to investigate how to improve the Icelandic language abilities of it’s new model GPT-4. Their collective goal is to guarantee the future of all languages in the digital World.

This model is getting more popular everyday. It’s capacity and abilities are thrilling and also frightening. Hope to see you at next blog.
