This makes our strategy unique. Existing casting agencies, as we know them, focus only on the semi and high-end professionals rather than amateurs.
Currently the casting market worldwide is severely conservative and extremely centralized. The great power that major traditional casting agencies and agents have obtained, ensure that they are able to define individuals’ careers and even exercise their power on the entire market. Traditional casting agencies focus only on the top of the market, where the margins are most profitable. In addition, global discussions such as the #metoo movement and discussions based on (gender) discrimination and bad payments have arisen. This affects the industry negatively. Their bureaucratic way of doing business and acting as the intermediary causes a slow and expensive process.
We create a new marketplace for these millions of motivated amateur and semi-professional talents who are left behind by major traditional casting agencies. At iCasting, these talents can benefit from all the opportunities that we offer, by simply registering at our platform for free. We believe that talents should be able to control their own careers and seek their potential by themselves. We also believe that most clients are able to select the right talents for their jobs.
However, they need a supportive platform that can help them in finding each other and interacting with each other. By disregarding the intermediary and offering the right tools on the iCasting platform, these talents and clients are in full control of their booking process and the agreements, resulting in a fast, secure and inexpensive process.
