Life is kicking my behind right now
The lead shoe drops. The world cracks.
Sockets burn out, and clothes shrink,
On days like today. I want to pack a holdall.
Leave life behind and just say forget it
Because I’m tired of trying, of sacrificing,
What I want, just to be kicked by the universe,
Forget all that, I’d rather be a traveler,
Just living in stone caves and fishing,
At least I could be a little selfish
Without someone else being affected
No matter which way I turn
I’m still lost, trying to be calm,
On a day, that has my name down
For bad occurrences
