The Carcinizer

Rebirthed–an Age of Villainy
Unto metamorphosed Earth
Yearning to migrate
Into a mahogany coffin’s hearse.

Villains fluctuated
Upon spinning weeks
Superheros working;
Gritting their teeth

Invoke the new
Destructor of being:
The Carcinizer,
A scientist

Evolution tamed
Under his wings.
One ideal piggybacked
Inside swirling thoughts

Carcinization of Earth,
People and animals. Lots
Of heroes did fall in
Crab-invoking rays

Scrambling off
To ocean foam displays.
Hidden in sand
Humanities fighters now lived

The Carcinizer close
To succeeding his
Final plot of crustaceans
And their distributions.

Auburn ropes
Of dusk’s light
Congratulated him–
The last human alive.

Now his ray
Was aimed at himself.
He pulled the trigger,
And joined everyone else.
