Kodit.io announces €100 million to finance new home purchases

Massive congratulations to team Kodit.io on the €100M additional funding led by NREP!

Today Kodit.io announced €100 million additional funding in a combination of equity and debt, led by leading Nordic real estate investor NREP, to finance new home purchasing for its real estate portfolio.

Back in August 2017, Kodit.io closed a €1.7M seed round with us and a year later the company raised €3M in equity financing and moreover, built its own real estate investment fund, Homerun Technologies, with €9M loan money they received from the Swedish Collector Bank. Ever since Kodit.io has grown to become one of Europe’s leading iBuyer (instant home buyer) startups with operations in Finland, Spain, and Poland.

“We have grown to a level where we are ready to absorb institutional real estate capital and I could not think of a better partner than NREP to do that with. They are true forerunners and innovators in the real estate industry,” said Kodit.io founder Kalle Salmi in EU-Startups’ interview.

With the newly added funding, Kodit.io seeks to scale its reach in existing countries, while planning its expansion into new geographies.
