Tender processes used by construction companies are outdated, unstructured, time-consuming and require a lot of manual work from procurement experts. Due to lack of structure and manual handling, the processes are prone to mistakes.
Stockholm-based Accurator is on a journey to streamline the tender process and digitize the construction industry.
All Accurator’s three co-founders have significant experience in the construction sector. Co-Founder and CEO Elie has 10 years of experience working with procurement in both the Automotive- and the construction-industry. Recently coming from a role as a procurement manager at Järntorget Bygg. Co-Founder Nabaz has 7+ years of experience in the procurement space for some of the largest construction companies in Sweden such as Skanska. The third Co-Founder, Richard, in turn, has several years of experience in graphics and working with architect and construction project management.
Founded in 2019, the company is already flowing purchasing volume of more than SEK 1 billion through the platform in goods and services sold. Following the SEK 8 million funding the Accurator team is strengthened by Jakob Bergendahl, former platform lead at KRY. Moreover, the ambition with the investment is initially to further strengthen the company’s position in Scandinavia and then aim for broader expansion.
“Our biggest challenge has been that many construction companies have not been ready to be digitized. Now more people realize the value and come to us because they want and can reach digital maturity. With Jakob in the team, we have even better conditions to reach the next level and help more people in the purchasing process,” says Elie Patti, CEO of Accurator.

The most common problem has been that these companies have been founded by people with little to no technical knowledge about the industry.
