Icon Africa Offline Event #2
Icon Africa team continued to make progress in bringing the icon project to Africa, we successfully organized the second offline event meetup on the 6th of June 2020 in Enugu state Nigeria. local blockchain enthusiasts were in attendance.
The event was a continuation of the event that was held the previous month, we had a total of 16 persons in attendance in obedience to the CDC guidelines Regarding Covid-19.

Mr.chidi who was the resource person discussed with the attendants the benefits of icon and how it can be practically implemented in different spheres of the economy, he also discussed with the participants some of the milestones the project has achieved in recent times.
During the question and answer session , the resource person explained and guided some of the participants to purchase their very first icx token, additional 4 persons volunteered to join the IconAfrica movement and participate actively in marketing and sourcing for talents to develop the project.
He also took time to explain the the concepts of P-Reps and the icon consensus mechanism, the event lasted 4 hours, he also announced to the community to brace up for more innovative activities.
