Icon Africa Offline Event
On the 9th of may 2020,Icon Africa team held an offline event,the first of its kind in the coal city state of Enugu Nigeria. the event was attended by individuals that were passionate about blockchain technology and the icon project.
This event leveraged with the opportunity to discuss with the participants about the icon blockchain. a total of 15 persons were in attendance on obedience to the guidelines issued by Cdc. the outline of events is as follows.

During the presentation chidi who is the organizer and resource person explained in details the advantages of icon project and the benefits to the African continent.
The event lasted for 3 hours and peaked during the Networking and giveaway session.
we were able to get more people to join and contribute towards developing the African community. Mr chidi encouraged the 2 developers in attendance to see away and build valuable Dapps on the chain, He further pointed out that developers and others can also take advantage of the icon grants program which is available.
He also announced to audience to expect more activities and events going forward. participants also gave suggestions on how to build a very vibrant African community.
